Sarah Mary Hughes graced the world with her presence on October 5th, 2000. She was a force to be reckoned with and arrived with pink chubby cheeks, big dimples, and an infectious smile.

Sarah always had a silly, playful quality about her. She loved to dress up, put on shows, dance and create. She would make up funny words and games, she loved changing into different outfits, mixed and matched patterns of every color and all of them somehow fashionable.

Sarah was the perfect middle child, she adored her older sister Annie and followed her lead in all things. When younger brother Peter came along, she took on the role as big sister with gusto, smothering, smooching, hovering.

As Sarah got older, she was involved in many different activities like acting, dancing, soccer, swimming, skiing and arts & crafts. Sarah loved being a part of a team, the cheering and the uniforms, especially if they were pink! She was a proud member of the Dragonflies soccer team and was an avid contributor both on and off the field!

School was a place where Sarah blossomed! She embraced every aspect from the playground to the science lab, the theater to creative writing. She adored her teachers and classmates, made friends easily and thrived in a school environment.
